die POSTEL jubiliert
The Deutsches Theater München presents
POSTEL JUBILATES
Navel-gazing and Best OF from 25 years on stage
A full stage life
In the past, Annette Postel has repeatedly brought us very special programmes and evenings in our theatre and thrilled audiences. In her “Jubelprogramm” (Jubilee Programme), the multi-award-winning musical parodist and cabaret artist looks back on 25 years of plump stage life. The virtuoso full-blooded comedian chats from the sewing box and from the stage and everyday life of a “chanteuse”.
Witty, enigmatic and charming
Blonde, woman, soprano, big mouth and according to SWR, ZDF and ORF “the only German-language opera comedienne”, Annette Postel jubilates with her own chansons, cheeky Kreisler couplets, Weill songs, opera comedy and tango parodies. Her shows are witty, enigmatic and charming, characterised by a sparkling mixture of comedic and great singing skills.
Renowned cabaret and classical awards (1st prize Bundeswettbewerb Chanson/ VDMK, 1st prize Kurt-Weill-Gesellschaft NY, Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg, Tuttlinger Krähe, etc.) and countless appearances at festivals (2019 Ruhrfestival and opening festival of the Salzburg Festival, among others) and on stages of the great and small arts bear witness to this. Her stage partner and virtuoso “chord worker” on the black and white keys is her pianist from the very beginning, Sebastian Matz.
