Tanzgala
Deutsches Theater München presents an event organised by La Limonada Event GmbH
Dance highlights
The dance gala with Enrique Gasa Valga invites you to an evening that showcases the full range of his choreographic work. In a series of selected scenes, the internationally renowned artist and the Limonada Dance Company demonstrate the diversity of his signature style – from lively, joyful dance to haunting character studies inspired by real-life stories.
Life stories danced
Limonada Latin Flair opens the evening with an explosion of rhythm and southern temperament. Poetic and at the same time relentlessly candid, Valga in Romy paints a portrait of an actress caught between fragility and strength. In the pas de deux from Der Fall Wagner, we encounter the intensity of an ambivalent artistic personality, while Frida – Pasión por la vida brings the passionate, colourful and at the same time painful world of the painter Frida Kahlo to life through dance.
More than just a showcase
An excerpt from The Great Gatsby seduces us into the dazzling world of the Roaring Twenties – full of glamour and illusion, but also with a hint of transience. The highlight of the evening is Boléro, whose unstoppable pull unfolds its full effect in a powerful ensemble performance. The dance gala thus becomes much more than a showcase – it is an impressive encounter with the artistic diversity and expressiveness of Enrique Gasa Valga’s dance theatre.
