Letters and diary entries penned by the long-undiscovered composer—quoted by Tinka Kleffner—complement and expand on the piano cycle “The Year”, interpreted on the keys by Sophia Weidemann.

This large-scale cycle was composed after a year-long journey through Italy, which had a profound effect on Fanny Hensel. Giving strong women a voice

Spokeswoman Tinka Kleffner and pianist Sophia Weidemann met at the Sensemble Theater Augsburg, where they shone together as mother and daughter in Sebastian Seidel’s “Klavierkind” (Piano Child). Now they are conquering the stage once again with Fanny Hensel, giving strong women an impressively audible voice.
