The Jamboree Ball is the second evening event and the highlight of the Rock That Swing Festival. Don’t miss this unique evening! International live bands, various DJs and the grand Jamboree Revue will ensure an unforgettable evening.
The past comes alive
Two beautiful ballrooms and two additional dance floors bring the 1920s to 1950s back to life. An exciting evening with elegant people and a cool attitude, dressed up in vintage clothing, petticoats or suits. Our rooms offer the perfect setting for this magnificent evening with music, dancing, shows and competitions.
Lots to experience
Watch the competitive dancers battle it out at the Boogie Woogie Cup and the trainers compete in the Teacher Jack’n’Jill competition. You will also be impressed by the Vintage Dance Show of Champions, which traditionally ends with the Killer Boogie. The special highlight is the grand Jamboree Revue, where singers from various bands will perform with the NP Big Band.
Taster course beforehand
Before the live music begins, guests can take part in a swing dance taster course and choose between an introductory dance course in boogie woogie, lindy hop and Charleston. The instructors will teach you a few steps of each dance so that you can enjoy yourself on the dance floor with the other Hep Cats during the evening.
