Your contribution to Munich’s culture
As the city’s musical theater and ballroom, we have been firmly anchored in Munich’s cultural landscape since 1896. In addition to international productions in the large theater hall, we have also been presenting a wide variety of cultural formats in the historic Silver Hall since its renovation. This expansion of our program means that every form of support is important and valuable to us. We are therefore delighted that the Friends of the Deutsches Theater association was founded in 2024. The board and members see themselves as ambassadors and want to promote the uniqueness of our cultural offerings even more widely in the city and beyond.
In addition to this commitment and passion, we are also delighted about the financial support that comes with it. The membership fee will ensure that the high standard of the program is maintained and expanded in the future. This will enable the Deutsches Theater to continue to be a meeting place of social and historical significance for everyone. Every contribution helps, and your commitment will of course be rewarded: as a member of the Friends, you will receive certain benefits and privileges depending on your membership level, such as discounted tickets, invitations to special events, or preemptive rights for premieres.
