Hannah Köpf & Band – FLOWERMIND

When Thoughts and Stories Bloom
Intimate lyrics, magnificent arrangements, and a jazz band with a country flair—that’s what lies behind the name Hannah Köpf. The Cologne-based singer-songwriter is on tour with her new album Flowermind—featuring a sound that feels like Nashville but comes from Germany. With a brilliantly clear, warm voice, she tells stories that both offer comfort and stir the soul—sometimes light and airy, sometimes intense and haunting, but always full of expression and radiance.
Between Country, Folk, and Jazz
The musical universe that Köpf has created together with drummer and producer Tim Dudek is imbued with the spirit of artists such as Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, and Judee Sill. A sound that blends folk, New Orleans soul, Americana, jazz, and Southern country. And yet the artist sounds so natural, as if she had never heard anything other than these quintessentially American genres since childhood. Following successful tours where she captivated critics and audiences alike, Köpf now brings new songs to the stage that blend Americana, country, and folk with lyrical depth. Comparisons to Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon are certainly warranted here.
Musical Sophistication
On stage, Köpf is accompanied by a top-notch band that imaginatively brings the album’s timeless yet contemporary sound to life. Whether profound and melancholic, ranging from anthemic power to gentle country longing and groovy lightness—every concert promises not only musical sophistication but also an evening full of warmth and intensity.
