Deutsches Theater München presents an event by ShowSlot
Vampire myth as a Broadway musical
We present Dracula’s immortal love story about eternal love, dark desire and the power of seduction as a captivating musical experience. Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire novel comes to life with an epic soundtrack. Immerse yourself in the romantic and dark world of Transylvania and London – more fascinating live than ever before.
Seduced, bitten, lost
A business trip turns into a nightmare for the young lawyer Jonathan Harker: Count Dracula invites him to Transylvania to purchase an estate in London. But when the vampire discovers the portrait of Jonathan’s fiancée Mina, he falls under a dangerous fascination and fate takes a sinister turn. Dracula leaves his castle in Transylvania to find Mina in London – leaving a trail of blood, longing and despair in his wake. Even the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing seems powerless against this dark passion. In the shadows of the night, Mina’s fate is decided: will she choose the light – or eternal life at Dracula’s side? Will the audience heed Dracula’s call and fall in love with the darkness?
The master of darkness is calling
In DRACULA – The Musical, the audience can look forward to none other than musical star Jan Ammann, who will embody the title role as the Prince of Darkness and haunt our theater – heart palpitations and goosebumps guaranteed! Touching ballads and powerful rock songs from the pen of star composer Frank Wildhorn will be performed by an 8-piece live band. Spectacular images in a Victorian set, atmospheric lighting design and eerily beautiful costumes under the direction of Alex Balga underline the eternal hunt for blood and love and make this exciting musical experience unforgettable.
