The children’s book classic by Michael Ende and its film adaptation are loved by kids and adults alike. The stage adaptation of Die unendliche Geschichte (The Neverending Story) by Moritz Seibert is coming back to our stage in September due to great demand, and it once again takes audiences on a fantastic journey to the mysterious land of Phantásien (Fantastica).

Young Bastian Balthasar Bux is neglected by his father and bullied by his classmates. He escapes reality by reading the book The Neverending Story. The book eventually takes Bastian to the magical land of Fantastica, ruled by the benevolent but very ill Childlike Empress – and only Bastian can save her…
Michael Ende
Michael Ende (1929 – 1995) was one of Germany’s most famous writers. He was awarded many prizes, especially for his children’s books. His works were translated into over 45 languages.
