Even more culture on Munich’s most beautiful cabaret stage
Since the renovation of our theatre and its reopening in 2014, we have had Munich’s most beautiful cabaret stage in the Silbersaal alongside the main theatre. Cultural diversity is visible here. World music concerts, classical salon evenings and dance events take place as part of the Welt im Silbersaal series. We also present German singer-songwriters.
Dance – The silver room becomes a dance hall
Dance enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth in this new series. The audience can take to the floor themselves to tango, swing and Bavarian folk dance.
Tanzbodenlust – Volkstanz mit den Dellnhauser Musikanten
The Dellnhauser Musikanten have been part of the Bavarian tradition like hops in the Hallertau for more than 70 years. The music of the seven-piece ensemble led by Michael Eberwein, who took over from his father in the 1980s, still sounds as fresh as ever. They owe their success above all to the perfect and independent style of music-making with which they perform their almost inexhaustible repertoire of self-composed and arranged pieces. With their unmissable enthusiasm and the variety of their music, they always delight their audiences, regardless of age. Come to the dance evening with the Dellnhauser Musikanten and see for yourself. No previous knowledge is necessary. Folk dancing is when everyone dances!

Tanztee mit Albrecht von Weech
Fine thread and fringed dresses are the dress code, the dance styles range from Charleston to waltz, from foxtrot to quickstep. The motto: dance until your soles glow. When Albrecht von Weech invites you to a tea dance, it’s stylish and fun. The fine gentleman treats the lady to a Prosecco at the bar and the guests dance to the swing music of the sextet of the Odeon Dance Orchestra under the direction of Sissi Gossner. Julia Miller and Alexander Huß will also be special guests this time. And there will also be a tap dance show. In short: a cozy Sunday afternoon in the style of the 1920s, where you can relax and unwind.
Albrecht von Weech (vocals), Julia von Miller (vocals), Alexander Huß (vocals), Sissi Gossner (violin, violophone), Maria Reiter (accordion), Peter Kral (saxophone), Harald Scharf (double bass), Werner Schmitt (drums), Manfred Manhart (piano)
