The hit musical all you need is love! tells the story of the Beatles, from the Star Club to world fame. In 1957, the four young men named John, Paul, George and Ringo formed the band The Beatles. What followed was a decade in which the so-called “Fab Four” wrote music history and left hits for eternity. Their music still causes euphoria around the world today. For 25 years, the successful musical biography has been bringing the magic of this period back to the stage and has already thrilled an audience of millions.
DOPPELGANGERS FROM LAS VEGAS
The musical features the perfectly rehearsed likenesses of the Beatles: The quartet Twist & Shout from Las Vegas sings and plays as if the “Fab Four” were on stage in the flesh. Authentic costumes and video recordings make the illusion perfect: travel with us back to the time when the Beatles were belting out one global hit after another – you can experience over 30 of them live and just like back then in all you need is love!, including “Yesterday” and “Hey Jude”.
FROM BACKING BAND TO MASS HYSTERIA
The first act tells of the beginnings of the four musicians from Liverpool, who came to Hamburg in 1960, played there as a backing band in strip clubs and pubs, later gave their first concerts – and finally started their rocket-like rise in the USA.
Act two: Beatlemania! The Beatles sell over 600 million records, bring their fans to ecstasy and set new standards in terms of fashion and lifestyle. In 1970, at their peak, they announced their break-up after a concert on the roof of the record company in London. But The Beatles left behind countless hits for eternity that still resonate today…
SUCCESS ON THE MUSICAL STAGE
With all you need is love!, producer Bernhard Kurz has created a monument to the Beatles: “With this show, we want to revive some of the atmosphere with which the Beatles captivated the masses back then.” In its 25-year history, the successful musical has thrilled more than a million viewers at over 1000 performances in 14 countries and is embarking on an anniversary tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2025. Beatlemania is back!
