Guided tours
tours of the theatre
New guided tours will be announced.
Take a look behind the scenes
You’ve always wanted to take a look behind the scenes? Then come to the Deutsches Theater. Our guided tours are little journeys of discovery: dive into the eventful history of the house, learn about the processes of a theatrical production and interesting technical details, and much more. Please note that the dressing rooms of the artists are not part of the tour in order to preserve their privacy. Please also note that the tour covers several floors and the flies above the stage – therefore, it is not completely accessible and you may not be able to do parts of the tour. The complete guided tour lasts 60 to 90 minutes and includes the great auditorium, the stage, the technical areas as well as the historic Silbersaal (Silver Hall), the only remaining room of the original theatre building from 1896.
Tickets for the announced dates can be bought in our webshop as well as at the box office for 10 €*. If you buy a theatre tickets for a performace on the same day, the price will be reduced to 5 €* – pupils also pay 5 €*.
We offer private tours for groups (minimum of 10 persons) after individual date arrangements. Pupils and their teachers or accompanying persons pay 5 €*. If you buy a theatre tickets for the same day, the price will be reduced to 3,50 €*.
