Glamour, glitz and swing dancing

This is not just any party. The evening is a lavish celebration and a tribute to the nightlife of the 30s and 40s. There will be partying, drinking and dancing. From the Charleston to the Boogie, from the Balboa to the Shag and of course above all the Lindy Hop. Not only in pairs, but also wild and solo to your heart’s desire. We celebrate life and the love of life, party and dance as if there is no tomorrow. The vibrant society surrenders to music and dance. Young and old alike glow in this breathless night of revelry and no dress is too fancy.

THE MUNICH LINDY EXCHANGE

For 20 years Lindy Hop dancers from all over the world have been meeting for the Munich Lindy Exchange. For the first time, the floor of the Silbersaal will be danced to. Doc Scanlon’s Cool Cat Combo from Barcelona will play for the big Saturday evening ball of glamour, glitz and swing dancing, impressive show acts will be presented and life will be celebrated – in the style of the 30s and 40s. And if you’ve never been – feel free to drop by for a taster class from 8pm to 8:30pm!
