Finally ball season means also finally cabaret on Ash Wednesday. We are pleased to present Hans Well & Wellbappn at our Silbersaal stage for the first time. They will perform songs from their critically acclaimed program “Didl-Dudl” and much more.

Ashes on the heads of the big-heads

Hans Well was the lyricist and head of the Biermösl Blosn for 35 years. He has been on stage with his offspring Sarah, Tabea and Jonas. As with Biermösl Blosn, the Wellbappn‘s program is characterized by humor, musicality and sharp song lyrics. On Ash Wednesday, the Wellbappn with Hans Well promise “unbalanced entertainment far from any Bavarian TV cabaret mainstream.” They enthusiastically pour the ashes that politicians don’t sprinkle on their heads onto the heads of the big-headed and big-mouthed. “This will be a political Ash Wednesday in the best Bavarian tradition,” says Hans Well. “A kind of early strong beer tapping without text acceptance by breweries or television editors.“
