Energetic jazz concert

Wolfgang Hanninger’s love of swing and blues combines with the virtuoso skills of his bandmates in W.H.’s Munich 4tet to create an exciting and energetic musical mix of the highest caliber. Despite their preference for the traditional world of jazz, the four musicians are also connected across musical genres.

With drive, blues, and lightness

More than half of the repertoire consists of compositions by bandleader Wolfgang Hanninger. Although not exclusively interpreted as swing, swing is a key ingredient for this concert evening. The pulsating, lively rhythm and impressive enthusiasm are characteristic of the style. The bandmates and friends perform with passion and an almost blind understanding of each other. The spark of enthusiasm quickly spreads to the audience with drive, blues, and lightness.
