The Silver Hall becomes a dance hall
Since the renovation of our theatre and the reopening in 2014, we have one of the most beautiful small cultural stages in the city next to the big house with the Silver Hall. In the future, the new series Welt im Silberaal (World in the Silver Hall) will offer even more and more diverse performances. And not only on the stage itself. In future, the audience itself will be able to conquer the dance floor in the Silbersaal with a wide variety of dance evenings ranging from tango to swing to Bavarian folk dance.

BAVARIAN DANCING WITH THE MASSANARI BAND
String sounds meet wind instruments. The Massanari band from the Augsburg area plays Bavarian-Swabian dance music with violins, trumpet and clarinets, accordion and helicon. Elegant and smart at the same time are the compositions of the namesake and former bandmaster Wendelin Massanari (1869-1928). Dancing to titles like “In guter Laune”, “Mit Ruck und Zuck”, or “Für schneidige Leut” is allowed in the Silbersaal until 11:30 pm.

ALBRECHT VON WEECH INVITES TO A DANCE TEA
WITH THE ODEON DANCE ORCHESTRA
When Albrecht von Weech invites guests to a dance tea, it is stylish and fun. The fine gentleman buys the lady a prosecco at the bar, you dance to swing music and are treated to a tap dance show. The sextet of the Odeon dance orchestra under the direction of Sissi Gossner plays the music of the 20s. In addition, Albrecht von Weech and Alexander Huß sing songs such as Home in Pasadena, The Lady Is A Tramp and The Charleston. A cozy Sunday afternoon to unwind.

We open our doors to the Del plata tango culture. In the future, the Silver Hall will also become a place where Argentine tango will be brought to life by renowned and high-profile guests. Live DJ and band, courses and workshops with Flavia Cristaldo and guests, shows and of course, above all, the opportunity to dance yourself in this magnificent ambience are part of the program. A must for all fans, lovers and enthusiasts of this incomparable and sensual dance style. In the ticket store, workshop and milonga can also be booked individually, or in a low-priced double pack.
