Since 2000, the Tour de France has been a huge hit in Munich—both among French expats and the local Francophile crowd. For the first time, DJ Thomas Bohnet is bringing his longest-running regular “French Disco” to the Silbersaal. And the name says it all: the event offers a danceable journey through the musical styles of France. From party classics, Nouvelle Chanson, French pop, hip hop, and R&B to hits from the ’60s and ’80s: whatever is fun, danceable, and—of course—has a connection to France will be played.
