A Rising Star in the Jazz World

Solaire has already carved out a solid place for itself among the most promising up-and-coming groups on the German jazz scene—even though the trio isn’t even out of school yet. Pianist Anton Kleespies, bassist Noah Scheufler, and drummer Paul Suttner met in 2024 at “Jugend jazzt.” A year later, they formed their trio, which blends modern jazz with echoes of the nostalgic sound of the 1980s.

A Well-Coordinated Team

Distinctive piano motifs, precise grooves, and powerful rhythmic developments blend with atmospheric passages and plenty of room for improvisation. The focus is always on the close interplay among the three musicians. The result is music that is clearly structured yet never feels rigid. Every concert remains open to new twists and turns.

Young Talents

As early as 2026, Solaire won the Bavarian Jazz Association’s Promotion Tour — one of the most prestigious awards for up-and-coming German jazz artists — as well as the Audience Choice Award. This double honor speaks to the trio’s musical quality as well as its stage presence and the energy that instantly connects with the audience.
