A celebration for all Tina fans
This acclaimed tribute show pays homage to the rock icon’s unique life’s work, with Coco Fletcher as the magnificent lead performer. In 1977, Tina Turner launched her solo career, thereby opening a new chapter in her life. Following numerous sold-out shows in recent years, we are bringing ‘Simply The Best – The Tina Turner Story’ back to our stage to mark this occasion, 50 years on, and will be presenting it over four evenings as an exclusive and one-off guest performance in Germany in 2027.
The Best Musical Tribute Show
The gripping and emotional musical biography *Simply The Best* was awarded the title of ‘Best Musical Tribute Show’ in Las Vegas. Featuring plenty of live music and impressive scenes, it recounts the eventful life of the exceptional artist Tina Turner: from her early successes, through the difficult period with a drug-addicted and violent husband, and her separation, right up to her global success from the 1980s onwards.
The Perfect Lookalike
Dorothea “Coco” Fletcher is regarded worldwide as one of the best impersonators. With her distinctive vocal tone and energetic performances, she brings the great rock diva back to the stage. The audience is always thrilled. “Tina Turner’s performances are very different from those of other artists. I’ve always been fascinated by her incredible energy and stage presence,” says the American.
An eventful life and a meteoric career
Anna Mae Bullock, born on 26 November 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee (USA), became a global star and a legend as Tina Turner. From 1958 onwards, she performed on stage alongside her future husband, Ike Turner. Following her divorce from him, she launched her solo career in 1977 and went on to become a celebrated global star. In 2009, the singer with the unmistakable voice embarked on her final world tour. This tour marked the magnificent conclusion to an extraordinary career. On 24 May 2023, Tina Turner passed away at the age of 84.
‘Simply The Best’ is a tribute to the exceptional artist who shaped half a century of rock history. With over 180 million records sold, countless number one hits and chart positions for major hits such as ‘Simply The Best’, ‘Private Dancer’ and ‘We Don’t Need Another Hero’, she is one of the most successful rock and pop artists of all time.
