Tina Turner’s album “Break Every Rule” was released by Capitol Records in 1986 and quickly became a number one success. The album sold over twelve million copies worldwide and is one of the best-selling music albums of the 1980s. Their legendary performance as part of the subsequent tour in Rio de Janeiro in front of more than 180,000 people even earned them an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. 40 years later, Simply The Best pays tribute to the unique life’s work of one of the most important artists in music history.

The best musical tribute show

The gripping and emotional musical biography Simply The Best was awarded “Best Musical Tribute Show” at the Reel Awards in Las Vegas and depicts the eventful life of the exceptional artist Tina Turner with lots of live music and impressive scenes for a good two hours: From initial successes, the tough time with a drug-addicted and violent husband, the failure of a great love and finally, after the separation, Tina’s new beginning and rocket-like rise in the 80s to the film music of “James Bond 007-Goldeneye” in the mid-90s.

The perfect doppelganger

Dorothea “Coco” Fletcher is considered one of the best doubles in the world. With the special timbre in her voice and an energetic performance, she brings the great rock diva back to the stage and thrills the audience to storms of enthusiasm. “Tina Turner’s performances are very different from those of other artists. I have always been fascinated by her incredible energy and stage presence,” says the US-American.

Bewegtes Leben und steile Karriere

Anna Mae Bullock, geboren am 26. November 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee (USA), aufgewachsen in Nutbush, wurde als Tina Turner zum Weltstar und zur Legende, ab 1958 an der Seite ihres späteren Ehemanns Ike Turner. 1984 startete sie ein überragendes Comeback als Solo-Künstlerin. 2009 ging die Sängerin mit dem unverwechselbaren Timbre das letzte Mal auf Welttournee. Diese Tour war der großartige Abschluss einer außergewöhnlichen Karriere.

Simply The Best ist eine Hommage an die Ausnahmekünstlerin, die ein halbes Jahrhundert Rock-Geschichte geprägt hat – mit über 180 Millionen verkauften Tonträgern, unzähligen Nummer 1-Hits und Chartplatzierungen großer Hits wie „Simply The Best“, „Private Dancer“ oder „We Don´t Need Another Hero“.
