Disco fever is dancing here
The stage becomes a shaking dance floor when the musical Saturday Night Fever brings the cult film about the disco era of the 70s to life. The award-winning soundtrack with world hits by the Bee Gees and breathtaking choreography get the disco ball spinning. Experience an exciting reinterpretation and answer the call of the night!
Welcome to the nightclub
When Saturday night comes around, disco king Tony Manero takes to the dance floor. While his life is dull and dreary from Monday to Friday, at the weekend he escapes to the place where he forgets the world – the “2001 Odyssey”. A dance competition, in which he wants to prove his potential, is supposed to offer him a great opportunity for a better life outside Brooklyn.
The dream of a new beginning suddenly seems within his grasp, an escape from the gray everyday life. But the feelings that flare up for his dance partner Stephanie follow their own rhythm. This musical proves that gripping dramas full of love, jealousy and admiration can be played out on the disco floor.
One hit after another
With its captivating story and platinum-selling soundtrack, the cult film Saturday Night Fever has moved audiences for generations. The legendary hits by the Bee Gees, Kool & The Gang and The Trammps provide the right mix of soul and funk. Rhythms from the disco era that still get under your skin today, such as “Night Fever”, “Stayin’ Alive”, “Disco Inferno”, “Jive Talking” or “How Deep Is Your Love” still get the dance floor boiling.
Every move is like a euphoria that is transferred to the audience beat by beat. Join Tony Manero on his foray through the New York disco scene and experience the night of your life!
