Wir feiern das Chanson
After the celebrated performance with 5 Diven – eine Stimme in spring 2024, Sarah Laux returns to our Silbersaal stage with her program Nein, ich bereue nichts. Look forward to another very special evening with which we celebrate the chanson in a very special way.
From opera class to the dreamboat
At the age of 16, Sarah Laux was once the youngest student in the opera class at the Meistersinger Conservatory in Nuremberg. It was there that the foundations were laid for her impressive career. The artist’s CV includes numerous musical roles as well as guest appearances in well-known TV series such as “Tatort”. She traveled the world for 30 years for various guest appearances and was active as a singer on a ZDF dream ship for many years. She has recorded her experiences from this time in “21 true short stories” in the book “Wenn Kreuzfahrtschiffe reden könnten”.
Piaf, Dietrich, Leander, Milva and Bassey
After the sold-out guest performance with the program 5 Diven – eine Stimme, she is now returning to the Silbersaal in 2025 under the motto No, I regret nothing. The title alludes to her favorite chanson “Non, je ne regrette rien”. In addition to other songs by Édith Piaf, with whom she shares her French roots, she sings pieces by Marlene Dietrich, Zarah Leander, Milva and Shirley Bassey. You can also look forward to her own songs from her repertoire. With vocal power and radiance, Sarah Laux brings the world stars into the intimate setting of the Silbersaal and will give the audience goose bumps and amazement.
