Let’s do the Time Warp Again!
It’s time to bring back the best party and the naughtiest production of musical theatre history: Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show returns to Munich. And once again we’ll sing: „Let’s Do the Time Warp Again!“.
Trash, Sex und Rock’n’Roll
Over one millions fans have visited director Sam Buntrock’s production, which was created under the watchful eye of creator Richard O’Brien. No other musical is celebrated and experienced that euphorically. The same goes for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the legendary film adaptation, which was released to cinemas 45 years ago.
A crazy Trip
Come along on a crazy trip with the prude young couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss to the diabolical extraterrestrial Dr. Frank’n’Furter. You can leave your morality at home and join in the show!
Bad, bizarre and bloody brilliant
Since its first performance in London in 1973, the Rocky Horror Show has become a world phenomenon and has greatly influenced drag shows, rock bands, theatres and the burlesque scene.
Sam Buntrocks celebrated production takes the Time Warp back to the roots of this extraterrestrial rock opera, back to B-movies and glam rock. So get out your straps and stilletoes! And by the way: heckles, booing and waving with glow sticks are strongly encouraged.

Confetti throwing I
(Right at the beginning!)
A wedding, how nice! Ralph Hapshatt and Betty Munroe got married, and of course we’re celebrating with them! Make sure there’s a good shower of confetti when the young couple leaves the church. A little tip: use it sparingly …
Splash with water – protect with newspaper
(Brad & Janet leave their wrecked car).
Brad and Janet have run into a thunderstorm while driving. Their car has a flat tire and the two of them are standing in the rain … Just like Janet, protect yourselves from the thick drops with a daily newspaper!
Rain? That’s right: rain! So that your newspaper has a meaning, a cloudburst is now simulated with your water guns.
Attention! In a moment, the two will start to sing: A light gives them hope for help. That means …
Wave the bending light
(Brad & Janet fight their way through the storm and reach the castle)
“There’s a light, over at the Frankenstein place. There’s a light, burning in the fireplace …”. But we don’t just want to hear about the light from this beautiful song – unpack your jack-o-lanterns and provide a real glimmer of hope!
Ratchet & put on rubber glove
(In the lab: Brad & Janet are freezing in their white coats and Frank is giving a speech about his experiment).
Now we’re off to the lab, quickly slip on the rubber glove.
Frank is really a great scientist and his great creation speech deserves much more than applause. And what is louder than clapping? That’s right: Ratchet!
Confetti throwing II
(Just now Frank has finished the troublemaker Eddie and sang his song to the end. Now the wedding march sounds for him and Rocky)
Another wedding! And this one is also celebrated vigorously: The Transylvanians throw confetti to sweeten Rocky and Frank’s way into the marriage bed. Of course we join in!
Putting on the feather boa – The Floor Show begins
(The curtain rises. One by one, Columbia, Rocky, Brad & Janet take the stage and put on a cabaret show).
“It was great when it all began, I was a regular Frankie fan.” A raucous floor show will be given in honor of Frank. Of course, the right dress code must not be missing: Luckily, we have the feather boa in our luggage.
Throwing playing cards – as a farewell
(Riff Raff and Magenta burst into the big orgy and put an end to it in alien outfits and with laser rifles. Then Frank sings his farewell song).
Just master of willing pleasure slaves, now betrayed and sold: The Sweet Transvestite senses that the end is near: “I’m going home … Cards for sorrow, cards for pain …”. We say goodbye to Frank with a shower of playing cards.
Not allowed!
Please refrain from the following jokes, due to the risk of injury to performers and audience:
- Throwing objects onto the stage
- Throwing whole rolls of toilet paper
- splashing the performers
- open fire by lighters, sparklers or similar
- throwing food (rice, toast, etc.)
- oversized rain magic with water bombs, supersoakers and the like
