Münchner Jazzsalon – John Coltrane
Deutsches Theater München presents an event organized by Jazz gGmbH München
Spirituality and Freedom in Jazz
Johannes Enders and Ulrich Habersetzer present the music, life, and work of John Coltrane. After playing a key role in legendary recordings as a sideman for Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk, he took jazz into new dimensions with his quartet in the 1960s. His innovative style, which incorporated African and Middle Eastern elements, continues to influence generations of jazz musicians to this day.
