The Face of Jazz
Julian Hesse is dedicated to music and, together with Claus Reichstaller, to the life of the “King of Jazz.” Trumpeter and bandleader Louis Armstrong shaped the early decades of this new musical form like no other. His trumpet sound was as distinctive as his voice. Starting with New Orleans jazz, he created a unique sound with each of his various band formations. He has been described as the most important American musician of the 20th century.
