Elias Prinz, winner of the Kurt Maas and BMW Young Artist Jazz Awards, among others, dedicates himself to the music of the exceptional guitarist with his trio and quartet and discusses his life with SZ journalist Oliver Hochkeppel. Django Reinhardt developed a unique form of European jazz, often referred to as gypsy jazz, from various styles, including New Orleans and swing. His unmistakable guitar playing made him a one-of-a-kind artist.
