Cabaret review of the year

Mathias Richling doesn’t wait for New Year’s Eve; he takes stock of an already eventful year even before then. As always, politicians not only from Germany but also from evil foreign countries, where populists and dictators are laughing up their sleeves at our (hopefully) human rights- and constitution-sensitive society, are helpful.

Satire-capable personnel

In the Corona crisis, of course, the satire-capable personnel has multiplied: the virologist Lothar Wieler of the RKI and the disinfectant-spraying U.S. President Trump are protagonists, as is the Chinese President Xi Jinping, who first spread Corona, and then curative tips against the virus all over the world.

Gabalier meets Beethoven

Art is not neglected either: trivialities by Andreas Gabalier and Florian Silbereisen, or supposedly important things by Rolando Villazon, who, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s birth, discusses his political message for us today.

And da Vinci is also there

Mathias Richling paints a picture of these and those, literally and also parodically. Leonardo da Vinci would turn green with envy.
