The cabaret artist for heart and brain
He talks fast, never misses a punchline and casually breezes through serious topics with his audience. When Christian Springer leaves the stage, he carries on in real life. He puts his cabaret view of the world into action. And in his solo program Leider it quickly becomes clear: cabaret is a necessity!
Space for lively everyday life
He himself says of his new program: “It’s as if topicality is drawing on my biography”. Right-wing extremism, the conflict in the Middle East, Sarah Wagenknecht, Jews, the VW Beetle, the eternal feud between the lifters and the shooters, foreigners and, of course, Bavaria. All of this is part of his everyday life and has its place in his new cabaret solo. Critics say: “Political cabaret can be this lively.” And: “Such a creative, sometimes touching and often hyperactively performed stream of consciousness”.
Cabaret artist and do-gooder
Christian Springer shows: Political topics can also rock. He hosts his monthly cabaret show “schlachthof” together with his colleague Michael Altinger and when he finds a gap in his schedule, he writes another book. He is the cabaret artist for heart and brain, “not a preacher, but a master craftsman of world improvement”.
