Ich liebe das Leben
Deutsches Theater München is hosting
Two hours of pure joie de vivre
In their new program, Lissi & Herr Timpe say “yes”—not only to the greatest hits from over 100 years of German pop music history, but above all to life itself! Two hours of pure joie de vivre and positive, life-affirming hits from the 1920s to the 1970s, colorfully and elaborately staged, with magic and dance interludes, numerous choreographies, and the humorous conference for which the two exceptional entertainers have been popular for over ten years, await the Silbersaal audience.
Schlager classics
In their new show, Lissi & Herr Timpe, together with their “Guten Morgen Orchester,” not only interpret unforgettable classics from Marlene Dietrich and Heinz Rühmann to Marianne Rosenberg and Udo Jürgens, but also venture into exciting experiments: What would “Atemlos” sound like if Caterina Valente had sung it in the 1960s?
Wonderfully entertaining
With a glass of Chianti wine, the “bathtub tango” is still being sung even when “Genghis Khan” is already calling out “little green cactus” in the “little pub”: “There’s one thing no one can take away from me, and that’s the pure joy of life!” I Love Life is a wonderfully entertaining evening—not just for fans of German pop music! For reminiscing, laughing, and singing along.
