Furzipups, der Knatterdrache
Deutsches Theater München presents an event organised by JTB Theaterproduktions gGmbH
A Dragon Without Flames
Little Furzipups the dragon doesn’t have it easy. Unlike his fellow Bang and Crackle dragons, he simply can’t manage to breathe fire at all. Yet for a proper dragon, this is the most important duty when danger strikes. But no matter how hard he tries, he can’t manage more than a few little wispy clouds of smoke. And worse still: instead of flames, all that ever comes out of his snout is a big fart. The Junges Theater Bonn is bringing this children’s book to the stage for children aged 3 and over.
The secret to breathing fire
No wonder, then, that the other dragons don’t accept him and he’s an outsider in the dragon herd. After all, playing with fire is a favourite pastime, especially amongst the young dragons – and he can’t join in. Furzipups leaves no stone unturned in his quest to finally breathe fire and fit in: he eats extra-hot chillies, tries fire beans, and mustard, ginger and horseradish are all on his menu. But nothing helps.
A Rare Talent
When the dragon herd goes on holiday to the seaside, he naturally has to stay at home to keep watch. After even the fire dance and a dip in hot lava prove fruitless, he gives up on the idea. Only then does he realise that he has a completely different talent. A rare gift that makes him something very special and which only he possesses: he can fart in time to the beat!
