When Zeki Müller is released from prison, he has only one thing on his mind: the loot from his last robbery. Unfortunately, his girlfriend buried it right where the Goethe Comprehensive School’s gym stands today. So Zeki applies for a job as a caretaker – and, due to a misunderstanding with the headmistress, Mrs Gerster, ends up as a substitute teacher. Instead of quick cash, he now has to deal with detention with the chaotic class 10b.

With a harsh tone and unconventional methods, Zeki tries to control the class. Will he manage to win over the pupils, or will he despair at the chaos? And what will become of his loot and his own new beginning? For everyone who wants to remember their school days with a wink.
