The Elvis Presley Tribute Show
Deutsches Theater München organizes
Remembering the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll
Countless times they sold out the Silbersaal. The Elvis Presley Tribute Show by and featuring the well-known Munich musician Chris Aron once again presents exclusively hits from the 50s and early 60s such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “His Latest Flame,” and many others. With Englishman Arron Walker, Chris Aron brings an artist to the stage as front man who, with his looks and incomparable voice, is one of the top 5 Elvis tribute artists worldwide.
A show like back then
Within just two years, from 1954 to 1956, Elvis had fundamentally changed the music world and laid the foundation for a unique career. Record sales, fashion associated with music, merchandising—none of this had existed before. And at that time, no one could have guessed how big he would become later on. In 1956, Elvis was on tour with his own show—a mixture of concert and revue. The Elvis Presley Tribute Show takes you back to that time and gives you the feeling of experiencing one of those tour shows live. Rockabilly, country, gospel, doo wop, and lots of rock ‘n’ roll guaranteed!
Authentic opening act
These shows also featured a lively opening act before the King took to the stage. Mr. Showman Jacky Cleever and other acts provided great entertainment to get the audience in the mood. Chris Aron and The Croakers not only accompanied Arron Walker, but also performed as the support act alongside The Groovin’ Four, among others. The quartet’s performance is just as perfect as their outfits, and they also provide backing vocals for Arron Walker during the Elvis numbers. DJ Lemon Squeezer will entertain guests before and during the intermission, as well as after the show, with his records. Always authentic, never standard, and lots of fun—that’s the motto of The Elvis Presley Tribute Show!
