A Tribute to the King of Rock ’n’ Roll

Countless times, they’ve filled the Silbersaal to capacity. The Elvis Presley Roadshow, created by and starring the well-known Munich musician Chris Aron, is making a three-day run this time. The program features exclusively hits from the ’50s and early ’60s, such as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “His Latest Flame,” and many others. For this show, Chris Aron has brought in Englishman Arron Walker as the front man—an artist whose looks and incomparable voice rank him among the top five Elvis tribute artists worldwide.

A Show Just Like Back Then

In just two years, from 1954 to 1956, Elvis had fundamentally changed the music world and laid the foundation for a unique career. Record sales, fashion trends tied to the music, merchandising—none of this had existed in that form before. And at that time, no one could have imagined just how big he would become later on. In 1956, Elvis was on tour with his own show—a mix of concert and revue. The Elvis Presley Roadshow takes you back to that era and gives you the feeling of experiencing one of those tour shows live right now. Rockabilly, country, gospel, doo-wop, and plenty of rock ’n’ roll guaranteed!

Authentic Opening Act

These shows also featured a lively opening act before the King took the stage. Mr. Showman Jacky Cleever and other acts provided great entertainment to get the crowd in the mood. Chris Aron and The Croakers not only serve as Arron Walker’s backing band but also kick off the show as the opening act, alongside The Finest Voices, among others. Just as perfect as their outfits is the quartet’s performance; they also provide backing vocals for Arron Walker during his Elvis numbers.

Ray Allen is joining us as a special guest this time. The singer and guitarist will perform a few lively tunes with The Croakers during the opening set. Ray is a household name in the rockabilly scene worldwide, and his band is one of the most in-demand groups in Europe. DJ Lemon Squeezer will entertain the guests before and after the show, as well as during the intermission, with his records. Always authentic, never run-of-the-mill, and packed with fun—that’s the motto of The Elvis Presley Roadshow!
