Always look backwards

If you’re driving forward, you shouldn’t forget to look backward. You learn that in your very first driving lesson. So what is appropriate in the spatial dimension can’t be bad for the temporal dimension.

Of giant flops and curiosities

And the year 2023 truly deserves its own evening in the rearview mirror. With a biting eye, hilarious wordplay and, as always, full of energy, Django Asül takes aim at the events of the last twelve months. Whether highlights or giant flops, whether politics, society or sports – nothing is left out, but garnished with the most incredible curiosities of the year. And the whole thing is spiced up, sometimes slyly and refreshingly nasty.

Anyone who as a viewer is served up the past twelve months in such an entertaining way is guaranteed to look forward to the new year with amusement!

Biography

The cabaret artist Django Asül is of Turkish descent and a native of Lower Bavaria with all his heart. Born in Deggendorf and raised in Hengersberg, he completed his training as a bank clerk after graduating from high school and, as an autodidact, added tennis instructor on top.
