It is one of Disney’s greatest successes: As an animated film, Beauty and the Beast thrilled audiences with its phenomenal, multi-Grammy and Oscar-winning soundtrack, and the live-action adaptation starring Emma Watson also stormed the cinema charts worldwide. As a musical, the enchanting fairy tale from Broadway conquered the hearts of fans just as successfully: worldwide, more than 25 million people have lived, suffered and, above all, loved with Belle and the Beast. Now the musical is finally back on our stage in the original version!

Disney Beauty and the Beast delights with its equally colourful and magnificent set, making the romantic fairy tale an incomparable experience. Audiences can expect a wonderful fairy tale experience with fabulous performers, polished dance scenes, colourful images and soulful music. The versatile ensemble sparkles with energy and delights with whirling choreography and entrancing singing. Accompanied by a 21-piece orchestra, the cast enchants with wonderful classics such as “Fairy Tales Write Time”.
TALKING CANDLESTICKS – SINGING TEAPOTS
The Disney characters are lovingly brought to life in the Budapest Operetta Theatre’s production, from the courageous Belle to the enchanted Beast and the charming servants: full of zeal, Madame Pottine, Herr von Unruh and the candlestick Lumière make matchmaking plans to banish the evil spell. But a monster is not made into a gentleman so quickly … Talking candlesticks, enchanted grandfather clocks and singing teapots whisk us away into a world that holds endless material for dreaming and laughing.
