The Long Night in the Silbersaal
On this special evening, Munich celebrates its musical diversity, its venues, its event locations and its creativity. And of course we are happy to be part of it again with a program in our Silbersaal. The Munich Chamber Opera, which is performing “Der Schauspieldirektor” with us during this time, has moved its performance on this day to the afternoon so that it can offer its own program for The Long Night of Music with the Festival of Artists.
Munich Chamber Opera Artists’ Festival
The Artists’ Festival, which is a must at every Munich Chamber Opera production, has become a crowd-puller. All the performers gather together and offer the audience a colorful program: there is dancing, singing, a silent film pianist suddenly appears… Great arias from famous operas are not to be missed and the orchestra offers – in addition to top-class chamber music – virtuoso and cheerful, sparkling bravura pieces.
