In his new solo programme Der Vampir am Klavier (The Vampire at the Piano), the German musical theatre star Thomas Borchert looks back on his career of more then 30 years on the stages of Europe: From his very first role – „Rum Tum Tugger“ in Cats – to the brand new musical Zeppelin, which premiers in November 2020.
VAMPIRES, EXTRA-TERRESTRIALS AND MORE
The programme includes songs from musical theatre classics such as the Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Les Misérables as well as Kiss Me, Kate and many more. In this revue of his remarkable career, Borchert will accompany himself on the piano.
THE COUNT’S BIG EVENING OF MUSICAL THEATRE
With chandeliers and splendid Baroque ornaments, our Silbersaal (silver hall) provides the perfect ambiance for this very special show: after all, the evening will be hosted by no other than Count von Krolock (from the musical Dance of the Vampires), a full-blood entertainer for more than 400 years – and Thomas Borchert’s most famous role.
