A global star with highs and lows
When Cornelia Corba received the translation of the audio tapes that Marilyn Monroe had recorded for her psychiatrist Greenson shortly before her death, her extensive research began. This laid the foundation for the concert show Marilyn Forever, which has already received rave reviews.
To get a picture of the diva’s life and death, Corba read all available books and publications. To get a feel for Marilyn Monroe’s attitude towards life, she flew to Los Angeles and drove to Marilyn’s house in Brentwood, looked into the room where she spent her last hours, sat by her pool, and visited her grave. She even stopped at the Hotel Del Coronado, where her most famous film was shot.
