Chris Boettcher has long since made a name for himself as a musical comedian. Together with the 17-piece Boettcher Big Band, he now presents a program full of new songs in the style of Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé. Entertainingly presented and performed in great arrangements. A gala evening of a very special kind – charming, funny and musically at the highest level!

He had a veritable Wiesn hit with 10 Meter geh’. His radio comedy parodies of Lothar, Franz and other celebrities on Bayern 3 and Bayern 1 are legendary. Now Chris Boettcher, probably Bavaria’s most versatile music comedian, is taking it to the next level: live entertainment with top-class big band sound! With his “BBB, the Boettcher Big Band”, Chris presents new, original songs with great arrangements by Andreas Unterreiner.

And the band has it all: members of the Grammy award-winning SWR Big Band as well as celebrated jazz instrumentalists (including Paul Carrack, Max Mutzke, Till Brönner, Pat Metheny and many others) Chris leads through the evening as a comedy entertainer and makes the room go wild with stand-up highlights. Because: sometimes it can be one size bigger, just NOT WITHOUT MY BIG BAND!
