The greatest musical hits remixed
Germany’s greatest musical voices become celebrated pop stars: Jan Ammann, Patrick Stanke, Karolin Konert and Sophia Riedl provide a musical spectacle that blurs the boundaries between musical best-of and pop concert of the highest calibre. Another prominent voice was recently announced in the form of Voice winner Ivy Quainoo. Supported by a breathtaking light show, a dance ensemble and a live band, this quintet is guaranteed to set the stage alight and give you goosebumps!
An evening of superlatives
Germany’s greatest musical voices become celebrated pop stars: Jan Ammann, Patrick Stanke, Karolin Konert and Sophia Riedl provide a musical spectacle that blurs the boundaries between musical best-of and top-class pop concert. A breathtaking light show makes the stage pulsate, while the energy of the dance ensemble and the live band sweeps everyone away – no playback, just goosebumps!
Jan Ammann
He is one of the most celebrated stars on Germany’s musical stages: From Beauty and the Beast to Ludwig II and Dance of the Vampires, he has already embodied all the major leading roles, given fans goosebumps with his incomparable voice and thrilled them in the long-running TV hit Unter Uns.
Patrick Stanke
Patrick Stanke took on one of his first leading roles in Elton John’s musical Aida. Since then, he has made his mark on numerous leading roles in Jesus Christ Superstar, Die Päpstin and Tarzan with his powerful voice and was awarded Best Musical Actor of the Year for Les Misérables.
Karolin Konert
The musical actress was awarded the German Musical Theater Prize in 2021 and has previously thrilled audiences in leading roles in Mozart!, Martin Luther King, Scholl – Die Knospe der Weißen Rose and Ku’damm 59.
Sophia Riedl
The singer is the German voice of pop star Ariana Grande in the blockbuster Wicked and has already lent her voice to numerous Disney princesses from Ariel to Snow White. After engagements in Mamma Mia!, Ku’damm 56 and West Side Story, she is now finally returning from the studio to the stage.
Ivy Quainoo
With her victory in the first season of THE VOICE OF GERMANY in 2012, Ivy Quainoo sang her way straight into the hearts of the audience and has been thrilling international audiences ever since in film and television, as well as in the German-language premiere of the Broadway hit HAMILTON. At short notice, she has now been recruited as the fifth prominent and magnificent voice for the Broadway meets Pop tour.
BROADWAY MEETS POP is not a musical gala like any other – it is the live experience for all those who love musicals and feel pop. Look forward to the great hits from The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, Disney’s The Ice Queen and many more and experience live how two worlds meet.
Cast
Originally, Philipp Büttner was also supposed to take part in this show. However, he is now being replaced by Sophia Riedl, who was recently cast as the German voice of Glinda in the film production of Wicked.
