Bayerischer Mob

How violence entered politics
For once, this is not a cabaret programme, but a duo reading with surprise musical guests: Christian Springer has packed a highly topical subject into a book – and is bringing it to the Silbersaal stage together with his co-editor Kerstin Schweiger. The work Bayerischer Mob (Bavarian Mob) is by no means a laughing matter, but rather a sombre assessment of the current situation.
Possible answers
Never before in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany has there been so much violence against politicians as there is today. Springer and Schweiger spoke with those affected and collected cases from Bavaria. Where does this come from? What can be done about it? And who is to blame? The book addresses these questions, attempts to find answers and documents the cases.
Clear message
The book also contains several essays by cabaret artist Teresa Reichl, energy expert Prof. Dr. Michael Sterner, musical cabaret artist and author Hans Well, chief physician at Landshut Hospital Prof. Dr. Reng and journalist Karl Stankiewitz, as well as an interview with the senior commissioner for police state security. The message is clear: everyone must do their part to preserve peace, diversity and tolerance in our country. You can look forward to a captivating and enlightening evening about what is going on out there and what most people are unaware of.
