Dance, celebrate and be amazed

A perfect blend of art and culinary delights: this is what ball total offers again in 2026. Experience exclusive excerpts from the program of the GOP Varieté Theater Munich and from our program. As always, a first-class three-course menu is included in the price for seats in the stalls. You can dance and party to the music of the Hugo Strasser orchestra and the Da Capo band between and even after the show acts until the early hours of the morning.

Acrobat meets musical

Our ballroom will once again become a hot spot when acrobatic performances from the GOP show of the same name take center stage. From the lesser-known but no less spectacular Icarian games to aesthetic hula hoop performances, you are sure to be left breathless time and time again. As a musical act, we are looking forward to Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles from Berlin. The show is still on tour this year and will also be performing in Munich in November.

In the spirit of friendship

“At ball total, there is no polite applause. At ball total, you cheer, stomp your feet, shout, throw your hands in the air, and hug your neighbors at the table,” explained Werner Buss, artistic director of the GOP, at the opening of ball total 2024. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to take to the dance floor yourself. The renowned Hugo Strasser Orchestra and the band Da Capo will provide inspiring dance music.

Culinary delights
Our catering partner Lorenz Stiftl and his team will be providing refreshments for ball guests. Choose between a set menu or à la carte dishes. To ensure you get the meal you want, we recommend using the convenient online shop to pre-order.

Please note: For tickets in the stalls or on the stage terraces, the menu is already included in the ticket price. Guests in this area who would like a vegetarian menu should contact ballbuero@deutsches-theater.de by Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 12 noon, stating their table and seat number.
