Ball-season
Due to the Munich gouvernment all carnival events for this and the coming year have been canceled. Our traditional ball season is also affected by this. Tickets already purchased for 2021 for the “Ball der Sterne” and “Ball.total” remain valid for the events in the following year.
Glamorous Dance Nights
From 28th January to 3rd March 2021, the Deutsches Theater was once again transformed into Munich’s largest ball house. Dancing and strolling to the music of large orchestras, traditional bands or live bands is a popular and long-awaited highlight of the carnival season. Each ball has a different motto and so the music style and show performances as well as the culinary offerings vary during the ball season and in this way provide the opportunity for good entertainment or simply to linger at one of the bars or at your table. Everything is possible, nothing is neccesary. Enjoy and decide for yourself whether you want to dance or just watch. Glamorous galas, traditional balls and dance music of all kinds are waiting for you.

Thrilling show acts and delicious cuisine make the ball.total an exceptionally magical evening. BALL DER STERNE
One of the highlights of the ball season is our Ball der Sterne (Ball of Stars): The Munich Symphony Orchestra invites you to waltz and twirl round the dance floor, and presents a concert interlude with two top-class opera soloists. The Orchestra Hugo Strasser and the band Smile will provide jaunty dance music.
